As a Band 3 Health Care Assistant, you will support patients during their recovery journey in a setting that provides short-term, person-centered care aimed at avoiding unnecessary admissions and facilitating early discharges.
Note on Immigration Policy: Changes introduced on 9th April 2025 have increased the minimum salary threshold for Health and Care Worker Visa sponsorship from £23,200 to £25,000. For more details, visit the Home Office website.
Salary Details: If you are new to the NHS, your starting salary would be £24,937, which is below the new sponsorship threshold, and thus not eligible for sponsorship. Please refer to the NHS Terms and Conditions of Service Handbook for more information.

Main duties of the job
You will collaborate with nurses, therapists, and doctors to deliver high-quality care. This role is suitable for HCAs with experience or interest in rehabilitation, reablement, or intermediate care services. Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and Bank Holidays is required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide personal care and support to patients as per care plans.
* Assist in promoting patient mobility, independence, and rehabilitation goals.
* Observe and record vital signs, reporting concerns promptly.
* Work collaboratively with the clinical team to deliver holistic care.
* Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to care planning.
