About the Role
Abbey Field Medical Centre and Tollgate Practice in Colchester are looking to welcome a pharmacy technician to their busy team. The position may be based at either practice.
The successful candidate will benefit from this opportunity to build up strong working relationships, across our organisation, and will be actively involved in how their role evolves over time.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
* Action the RAP
* Review and change medications as per hospital discharges
* Run, review and action CQC medication reports
* Assist with the wider pharmacy team
About the Candidate
The successful candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:
* Registered pharmacy technician with the GPhC.
* Diploma Level 2/3 in pharmacy services,or equivalent.
* Strong experience in either a community pharmacy or a primary care setting.
* Confident inanalysing and presenting information to health professionals.
* Experience of implementing and promoting cost-effective strategies.
* Ability to interpret complex clinical information and present it in suitable formats, to a variety of people from professional and non-professional backgrounds.
About Us
We are a practice of approximately 20,000 patients covering sites in Colchester, Greenstead and Elmstead Market.
We use SystmOne clinical system.
