This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a respected M&E Building Services contractor delivering mechanical upgrade and replacement projects within a major data centre environment in Hemel Hempstead.
The employer is a long-established contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality mechanical projects across commercial, critical environments and occupied buildings. Their newly developed Data Centre division is experiencing rapid growth, offering long-term opportunities for progression and development.
The Role
You will oversee the delivery of mechanical upgrade, refurbishment and replacement works within a live data centre environment, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Managing mechanical projects ranging from £100k £3m
Overseeing mechanical upgrades, replacements and system improvements
Working within a live, critical environment with strict compliance procedures
Managing labour, materials, subcontractors and project documentation
Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
Providing ongoing communication with clients and internal teams
Overseeing works within occupied commercial environments where required
About You
Mechanical Project Manager or Mechanical Contracts Manager background
Experience within data centres is beneficial but commercial / occupied building experience is equally considered
Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems
Able to manage multiple workstreams and deliver projects effectively
Strong communication, organisation and client-facing skills
Remuneration Package Mechanical Project Manager
£75,000 £85,000 base salary
£5,000 travel allowance
2.5% project performance bonus
