In support of this goal, the PKPD & Pharmacometrics ( PMx ) organization provides leadership and technical expertise to support the discovery and development of new medicines from preclinical lead molecule identification to clinical post-drug approval, with the goal of identifying and developing the right drug with the right dose for the right patient using model-informed drug research and development (MIDD) approaches. To further advance the science in this discipline, we are seeking a sci entific director who is experienced in PBPK modeling. Key Responsibilities: Provide scientific leadership to project teams to support the selection of the right target, molecule, dose, patient population, and development strategies. Develop and execute modeling strategies, contribute to project team discussions, and guide decisions with quantitative approaches in to drug discovery and /or development Communicate quantitative data, both internally and in the scientific community Basic Qualifications: PhD in Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics, Pharmacology or a related discipline and at least 5 years of relevant work experience with physiologically based pharmacokinetic modeling in the pharmaceutical industry or contract research organization. Knowledge and expertise advancing and implementing PBPK model-informed approaches in drug discovery, development and regulatory submissions. Strong interpersonal communication skills, including demonstrated experience working in a team environment.
