High Grange School is seeking to appoint a confident, competent, and skilled teacher in delivering core subject areas, specifically Computing. This job is suitable for candidates with experience of working in Special Educational Needs and candidates who are looking for a change of career and joining an outstanding school.
This position is well-suited to a candidate with good subject knowledge and the ability to deliver Computing content to pupils in Key Stages 3, 4, and 5/
The successful candidate will work alongside subject leads for ensuring the delivery of the curriculum in line with the National Curriculum and national guidelines, while adhering to the school’s curriculum model. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
•Computing: Key Stage 3 Computing, digital literacy, and e-safety topics. Key Stage 4 Computer Science.
In addition to teaching responsibilities, the successful candidate will undertake further duties to support pupils' learning in alignment with the school’s policies and procedures. All pupils at High Grange School have a diagnosis of high-functioning ASC, with possible additional diagnoses of PDA, ADHD, or mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will be expected to demonstrate a thorough understanding of safeguarding procedures in accordance with the Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) 2025 guidelines.
