We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our team and take full responsibility for the cleaning and caretaking tasks around our business.
Reporting to the Estates Manager, you will be required to undertake daily cleaning of all areas including office and operations spaces, plus upkeep of the outside areas and some small maintenance jobs. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a pro-active, industrious approach and pride in delivering high quality results.
Skills and Experience
* Previous cleaning experience preferred.
* Working knowledge of cleaning chemicals and related regulations preferred.
* Experience in the use of mechanical cleaning equipment.
* Knowledge of the safe use of mechanical gardening equipment.
* Maintenance/DIY skills.
* Initiative to work alone or as part of a team, taking ownership of key areas.
* Flexible, punctual and committed work ethic.
* Problem solver, able to work methodically with minimum supervision.
* Working to a high standard, with evident attention to detail.
* Process driven and solution focussed.
* Good communication skills & organisational abilities.
* A continuous improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities and tasks will include:
* Clean offices/Cloak rooms/Kitchens/Rest areas etc. to a high standard.
* Maintain grounds to a high standard.
* Weekly Health and Safety checks.
* Maintenance tasks.
* Work in a safe manner & follow Company Health & Safety rules.
* Liaise with departments as necessary to meet all cleaning requirements.
* Must be flexible with regard to working hours to meet the business needs.
