Role Overview
proAV are a leading global audio visual integrator, providing AV and event services across multiple client partnerships globally.
Our immediate requirement is for an experienced Junior Buyer to be a key part of our Egham team, representing proAV, taking full responsibility for purchasing goods and services to meet business and client expectations.
This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional, Junior Buyer to join an established operation with scope to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity.
Experience and seniority of the position will be reflected by the remuneration and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide support to the Purchasing Team Lead & Team Members
2. RFP and analysis of costs
3. Negotiation of pricing & lead-times
4. Draft and issue purchase orders up to authorized limits
5. Management of Purchase Orders in SAP from pricing, expediting through to receipt
6. Selection of Business Partners based upon commercial and program factors
7. Review inventory across multiple Warehouse locations
8. Spreadsheet updates & maintenance of project data to include lead-times, due dates and receipts
9. Procurement schedules
10. Effective communication throughout the business and with Business Partners
11. Restock excess hardware with consideration to future demand versus costs
12. Management of Business Partner data on SAP and price lists
13. Purchase Ledger queries
14. Supplier report analysis
15. Time management
16. Management of emails
