Madison Berkeley has once again been instructed by a long standing London estate with a strong destination appeal. Known for prioritising community, lifestyle, and a highly diverse tenant mix, the estate continues to revitalise the area through landmark leasing deals and increased footfall.
This is a rare client side, in-house opportunity for an experienced property professional seeking a long-term role with the scope to shape and enhance the performance of a significant mixed-use estate.
The Role: Senior Management Surveyor
As Senior Management Surveyor, you will join a lean commercial and residential team responsible for managing a high value mixed-use portfolio, including office, retail, and F&B assets.
You will take ownership of the day to- ay estate management, ensuring operational excellence, executing asset performance strategies, and delivering a high standard of customer service, while overseeing the wider property management and facilities management functions.
The portfolio comprises approximately 70% commercial and 30% residential assets, with a value of circa £400m and an annual rent roll of £20m.
Key Responsibilities
* Team management, including oversight of property management and facilities functions.
* Ownership of day to day property management across the estate.
* Drive operational performance and contribute to wider placemaking initiatives.
* Support and oversee development and refurbishment projects.
* Manage full service charge processes, including budgeting, monitoring expenditure, and ensuring lease compliance.
* Conduct regular site visits, building strong relationships with tenants and occupiers
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, statutory requirements, and ESG standards.
Essential Requirements & Qualifications
* MRICS Qualified
* Strong financial acumen with extensive experience managing budgets, and capex spend.
* In-depth knowledge of commercial & residential legislation.
* Demonstrated team leadership skills and ability to mentor larger teams.
* Strong organisational skills, AI & Tech capabilities, and ability to interact with a broad customer base.
