About Our Client
Our client is a well-established and growing media business with over 30 years in the industry.
They work with recognisable brands and local businesses, delivering targeted advertising campaigns in high-footfall, high-attention environments. It's a niche, specialist market and they are one of the leading names in it.
Following a period of continued growth, they are now looking to bring a motivated, entry level sales person into their Aldershot-based team.
The Role
This is a genuine, phone-based sales role. You will be making around 50-60 outbound calls per day to local businesses, introducing our client's advertising solutions and converting interest into confirmed campaigns.
The good news — leads are provided. You won't be searching for names in the dark. Your job is to pick up the phone, build rapport quickly and sell confidently.
Day to day you will be:
* Making outbound calls to local business owners and decision makers
* Presenting advertising solutions tailored to each client's needs
* Building and managing your own portfolio of accounts
* Developing relationships that turn into repeat business
* Working towards and consistently achieving monthly sales targets
* Maintaining accurate records of activity and pipeline through CRM
What Our Client Is Looking For
No media or advertising experience is required. Our client is specifically looking for entry level talent — someone they can develop and train in their own way, without prior bad habits to undo.
What matters most is your attitude, energy and natural ability to communicate.
You will be the right fit if you:
* Are confident, personable and comfortable talking to strangers on the phone
* Can handle rejection without losing momentum — resilience is everything in this role
* Are naturally competitive and motivated by targets and earnings
* Are organised, methodical and able to manage a busy call list
* Have some experience in a sales, phone-based or customer-facing environment — part-time or otherwise
* Are genuinely looking to build a career in sales, not just find a job
Backgrounds that tend to work well include telesales, estate agency, lettings, retail, recruitment, hospitality or charity fundraising. If you've had to persuade people for a living, we want to hear from you.
