Hours: Mon-Thu 7:30-16:30, Fri 7:30-12:30

About the Role
TeamJobs is recruiting for an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter Miller to join a leading engineering and machining facility in Blackburn.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern, purpose-built machining environment, programming and setting Heidenhain controls for medium-to-high batch production.
What You'll Be Doing
Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls
Working on high-tolerance, high-volume production parts
Selecting tooling, work holding and optimising cutting strategies
Working with a variety of materials including exotic alloys
Ensuring all components meet strict quality and safety standards
Interpreting detailed engineering drawings
Contributing to a skilled, collaborative engineering team
What We're Looking For
✔ Time-served machinist with strong technical background
✔ Proven experience with Heidenhain programming
✔ Strong tooling and machining strategy knowledge
✔ Confident working to tight tolerances (automotive/high-precision background ideal)
✔ Excellent understanding of engineering drawings
✔ Positive communicator and team player
