Excellent opportunity for a Legal Bookkeeper to support a busy legal practice with the day-to-day management of office and client accounts. This role is ideal for someone with strong bookkeeping skills whos confident working in a regulated environment. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate ledgers, completing monthly reconciliations, managing payments, and ensuring compliance with client-money rules. The firm uses Advanced One, so experience with this system is a bonus, though not required. The practice is open to part-time or flexible hours, making this a great opportunity for someone returning to work or balancing parenting commitments. Person Specification: Strong bookkeeping experience (ledgers, reconciliations, journals, VAT). High accuracy and attention to detail. Experience working in a regulated or compliance-heavy environment. Able to work independently and manage strict deadlines. Good understanding of data protection and confidentiality. Comfortable learning new systems and processes. Spreadsheets, Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Experience/Advantageous: Previous legal bookkeeping experience. Handling client money (e.g. property, estate agency, professional services). Experience using Advanced One or other legal practice management system. Experience preparing three-way reconciliations.
