We are looking for a proactive, detail-driven HR Adviser to join our HR Services team. You will manage a varied portfolio of work, providing expert advice and guidance across a full range of HR matters. This includes employee relations casework and leading on key lifecycle processes such as sickness absence management, immigration, and fixed-term contract reviews.
You will play a vital role in delivering a progressive, inclusive and high-quality employment experience across the full employee journey - from probation to retirement.
In this role, you will:
1. Provide dedicated HR advice and support to assigned areas of the University
2. Coach managers and staff to resolve issues early and enhance the employee experience
3. Lead on core HR processes and casework, ensuring fairness, consistency and compliance
4. Contribute to continuous improvement, and support HR initiatives and projects where appropriate
