Our client, a renowned company in the aerospace MRO sector, is currently seeking a B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join their team in the South West. With a heritage spanning 40 years in the rotary field, our client is recognised for their expertise in maintaining Leonardo aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide and communicate regular engineering reports to the Head of Maintenance/Head of Department
Certify work within the scope of company authorisations
Carry out both line and base maintenance at any of the facilities, and off-site upon customer demand
Undertake all tasks related to aircraft maintenance
Work with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the business
Closely supervise other engineering and support staff as required
Ensure compliance is maintained to industry requirements and authorities such as the CAA and EASA
Comply with all Continuing Professional Development requirements relevant to company policies and reporting authority
Job Requirements:
Licensed Aircraft Engineer with experience in Airbus EC145/H145, Airbus EC135/H135, or Leonardo AW139
Proof of recency and right to work in the UK
UK CAA Part 66 Licence type ratings for AW139 or H145 or H135
Experience in aircraft maintenance, both line and base
Effective management of all maintenance within your control
Computer literate on Microsoft-based systems
Ability to hold a security clearance
