Duties
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in need
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration and proper dosage management
- Familiarity with hospice care and end-of-life support
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors with patience and empathy
- Understanding of senior care needs, including dementia care
- First aid certification is a plus
