About the Role
As a Quality Assuance Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless changes to technology systems while maintaining high-quality standards. You will work closely with stakeholders, including development teams and Technology Business Partners, to oversee change implementation and ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assess, document, and manage change requests related to technology systems and applications.
2. Conduct risk and impact analyses to identify potential challenges associated with changes.
3. Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts to detect and resolve defects.
4. Monitor and report on testing progress, document results, and facilitate issue resolution.
5. Maintain detailed documentation for change management processes and quality assurance activities.
6. Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies related to change and quality management.
7. Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess change effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
8. Communicate with business users, development teams, and stakeholders to provide updates on change initiatives and quality assurance activities.
9. Offer training and support to colleagues on best practices in change management and quality assurance.
The Ideal Candidate
Essential Skills & Experience:
10. Proven experience in change management and quality assurance within an IT environment.
11. Strong background in managing change requests and executing quality assurance processes.
12. Knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
13. Familiarity with change management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and project management principles.
14. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with change management tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
15. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
16. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
17. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
18. Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
19. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
20. Knowledge of technologies relevant to the retail industry is advantageous.
