About Us:
We are a leading recruitment agency providing top-quality driving services to logistics companies in and around Southampton. We are currently looking for reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to fulfil container transport bookings on an agency basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles for container transport to and from local ports and terminals.
* Safely load and unload containers as required.
* Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues.
* Adhere to all traffic regulations and safety guidelines.
* Complete necessary documentation and delivery paperwork accurately.
What We’re Looking For:
* Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
* Previous experience with container transport is highly desirable.
* Valid CPC and digital tachograph card.
* Strong safety focus and excellent driving skills.
* Reliable and flexible, with the ability to work different shift patterns.
* Good communication skills and professionalism when dealing with clients.
