Were partnering with a global organisation to hire a 2nd Line Infrastructure Engineer to support and enhance their group-wide IT infrastructure. This role focuses on BAU support, technical escalations, and assisting with infrastructure and network projects.
The Role Own and resolve 2nd line BAU tickets in line with SLAs
Act as an escalation point for local IT teams
Provide remote and on-site support to users
Support infrastructure, network, and security projects
Assist senior engineers with servers, networks, backups, and MDM
Maintain accurate ticketing and documentation
Key Skills & Experience 2+ years in a 2nd line support / infrastructure role (ideally from an MSP)
Strong Microsoft stack experience (Windows 10/11, Server, AD, Azure AD, O365)
Networking fundamentals (VLANs, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi)
VMware and Veeam experience
Awareness of cyber security best practices
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
