The Role – SEN Teacher As an SEN Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCP outcomes Lead a class of pupils with diverse and complex needs Work closely with a team of Teaching Assistants and support staff Implement individualised learning strategies and behaviour support plans Foster a positive, safe and engaging learning environment Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches accordingly Support students’ communication, independence, and life skills development ✅ Requirements – What We’re Looking For To be successful in this SEN Teacher role, you will have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience working with SEN / SEND / Autism / complex needs (school or specialist setting) A strong understanding of differentiation, EHCPs, and inclusive teaching strategies Excellent classroom management and communication skills A patient, empathetic and proactive approach A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with relevant SEN experience or placements are also encouraged to apply.
