As a Domiciliary Dispensing Optician at Specsavers, you’ll drive our services to the doorsteps of the nation, providing eye care to the people who aren’t able to come into our stores. If you enjoy helping them with their sight and supporting them in basic tasks they wouldn’t be able to do without you, this role will bring smiles and clinical care to your community.
Our business
Based in Manchester and surrounding areas you’ll be providing care to vulnerable patients in their own homes or within care home settings. An ideal location for the successful candidate would be the Bolton area.

We have a wonderful existing team of dedicated people from optical and administrative backgrounds, who are ready and waiting for you to meet.

You’ll be provided with a company car or car allowance.

What we’re looking for
We do need you to have a few skills to get started as a Domiciliary Dispensing Optician. These include:
* Registration with the GOC
* Previous experience working as a Dispensing Optician
* Full UK driving license
Desirable experience
Some desirable experience could set you apart from the competition if you have it, such as:
* Previous experience in a fast‑paced customer‑facing environment
* Being confident using new systems as well as tablets and laptops.
