Role Overview
We are looking for Healthcare Support Workers to work in the Oncology and Haematology department on Mulbarton ward, Acute Oncology/Haematology service and Weybourne Day Unit.
Responsibilities
* Under the direction of the registered professional, work with all members of the multi-disciplinary team to provide the highest standards of patient care delivered with dignity, respect and compassion.
* Act as a role model for other colleagues and provide support and guidance as appropriate to the role.
* Contribute to the provision of patient care in accordance with the scope of practice for Band 3 HCSW – clinical care at NNUH.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Current UK professional registration where required; you will provide consent for verification.
* Background checks including a Criminal Record and Barring (DBS) check; may be required to be completed unless salary is below Band 4 (AfC).
* Eligibility for NHS service: any previous NHS service must be established via ESR IAT.
* Visa and immigration: sponsorship may be required; candidates should assess eligibility against gov.uk criteria.
* Other competencies aligned with the scope of practice for the position.
