MCG Healthcare are supporting a thriving Practice in Milton Keynes which requires a practice nurse to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Practice are looking for a team player who is flexible with change, has experience in long term conditions and work to a high standard. This is a permanent full time role (37.5 hrs) Monday- Friday and you will have the flexibility of working across up to 3 local sites within within the PCN.This is a SystmOne practice with some excellent benefits including:* Excellent Annual leave entitlement* Enhanced Maternity/Paternity

Practice Nurse Core Responsibilities:
* Venepuncture
* Blood pressure
* ECG
* Height/Weight/BMI
* Health Promotion
* Childhood and Adult Immunisations
* Wound Care
* Contraception
* Cervical Screening
* Spirometry
* Long-term condition management such as Diabetes, COPD, Asthma
* Some experience of long-term condition management and cervical screening is essential.
The successful candidate must:
* Registered with the NMC
* Degree in Nursing
* Substantial Practice Nurse experience
* Evidence of ongoing CPD
* Minimum of 1 Long Term Condition diploma
* Have knowledge of patients with long term conditions
* Be familiar with Patient Group Directions (PGD's) and associated policy
* Produce accurate, contemporaneous and complete records, consistent with legislation, policies and procedures.
