About the Role: As a KS1 Teacher, you will play a vital role in laying the foundation for students’ academic and personal growth. You’ll work alongside a team of committed educators to deliver engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and confidence in young learners. Key Responsibilities of KS1 Teacher: Deliver creative and stimulating lessons aligned with the Key Stage 1 curriculum. Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment. Support students’ early development in literacy, numeracy, and social skills. Provide tailored instruction to meet individual learning needs. Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly. Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to each child’s education. Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being in the classroom. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and carers. What We’re Looking in KS1 Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or equivalent. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A nurturing and patient approach to teaching. A genuine passion for supporting young learners. Relevant training or experience in KS1 education (desirable but not essential).
