Customer Service Representative
We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our Sales & Customer Service team. In this pivotal role, you will act as the main point of contact for our customers, supporting enquiries, managing orders, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from quotation through to delivery.
What You’ll Do:
1. Serve as the primary liaison between customers and the business, handling enquiries and feedback via phone, email, and MS Teams.
2. Provide timely updates on dispatch and shipping, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
3. Address and resolve customer issues and complaints, maintaining positive and professional relationships.
4. Support sales managers during customer meetings and visits, contributing to partnership-building.
5. Accurately manage and process customer quotations, orders, and related documentation within agreed timelines and quality standards.
6. Handle quotes and orders in line with business unit processes, including release documentation and export license requirements.
7. Collaborate with the manufacturing unit and internal teams to progress orders and resolve queries.
8. Ensure all customer service processes and policies are followed and maintained.
9. Maintain accurate digital records including quotations, orders, price lists, contracts, and correspondence.
10. Assist sales managers and the accounting dept with invoice queries and payment-related issues.
11. Analyse and update customer forecasts and order books.
12. Maintain customer scorecards to track on-time delivery and service performance.
What You’ll Bring:
13. Experience in customer service or sales support.
14. Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) and a committed approach to resolving problems.
15. Well-developed organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
16. High level of focus on detail and precise work
17. Proficient in digital systems and Microsoft Office.
18. A customer-first mindset.

This position will be located in Clevedon, UK on local contract.
You will report to the Customer Service Manager, who is located in Clevedon, UK.
