Are you a qualified electrician looking to make a real difference in social housing? We're seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our Direct Maintenance team, delivering high-quality reactive repairs and maintenance services to residents.
What you'll do:
1. Carry out electrical repairs, maintenance, inspection and testing works.
2. Deliver excellent customer service and ensure jobs are completed right first time.
3. Work independently and as part of a team to meet service targets.
4. Maintain compliance with electrical regulations and health & safety requirements.
5. Support the development of apprentices and trainees when required.
What you'll need:
6. NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Installation (or equivalent) with AM2 where applicable, or ECS/JIB Gold Card (Installation or Maintenance Electrician).
7. Level 3 Award in BS7671 Requirements for Electrical Installations.
8. Full UK driving licence.
9. Strong knowledge of electrical regulations, inspection and testing, and health & safety.
10. Experience working within housing maintenance or a similar environment.
Desirable:
11. Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent).
12. Additional trade skills and relevant certifications.
13. Experience using certification software and mobile technology.
