The Specialist Anesthesia will be responsible for delivering high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures within the hospital. The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient safety and care. Responsibilities Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia plans according to patients’ needs. Administer anesthesia safely and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures. Manage perioperative care, including post-operative pain control and recovery monitoring. Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated patient care. Respond promptly to any anesthesia-related emergencies or complications. Stay up to date with the latest anesthesia techniques, guidelines, and best practices. Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives within the hospital. Requirements Medical degree with specialization in Anesthesia and valid licensing to practice in the UAE. Experience working as a Specialist in Anesthesia within a hospital setting, preferably in the UAE or Gulf region. Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques, pharmacology, and patient safety protocols. Ability to perform pre-operative assessments and manage anesthesia for various surgical procedures. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams. Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
