Would you like to help set the future of our wonderful game of bridge? EBED, the charity with responsibility for developing the game, is looking for new Trustees.
What difference will you make?
Bridge is already played across the country, and most towns have a bridge club. But there is a perception that it is played mainly by the elderly. Our vision of the future is to be at the centre of a revival in the playing of bridge by all ages based on broad recognition of the game's social and health benefits. Following receipt of a generous legacy, EBED's Board and new CEO has over the past 12 months started several new initiatives in Youth bridge, supported by additional staff. The metrics we follow show some encouraging signs of increasing participation in the game as a result. We wish to build on this momentum in other areas and other age groups. If you join us as a Trustee, you will be part of an energetic and committed team. Your reward will be to see the game of bridge burgeon and to know that you are part of making it happen

We wish to appoint between 1 and 4 new Trustees to strengthen the Board's skillset and diversity. We welcome applications from first-time Trustees, but your age must be over 18. We are looking for the following general qualities in our new Trustees
