Job Summary
This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a successful, established team working alongside some of the industry's top engineers. It involves working on a diverse portfolio of major projects across the UK.
* Minimum of four years post-graduation experience in civil engineering design
* At least three years’ experience in bridge design, including loading to Eurocodes, element design, and detailing
* Experience with bridge loading to Eurocodes
* Experience in steel and concrete design to Eurocodes
* Proficiency with structural analysis software
* Experience in producing design deliverables such as drawings and specifications, and supervising engineers and BIM/CAD technicians
* Ideally, experience with composite steel/concrete, masonry, geotechnical, and timber design to Eurocodes
* Ideally, experience with finite element analysis software
* Strong communication skills, both oral and written
* Ability to work independently and in a team to meet project and client objectives
* A proactive approach to solving engineering problems, focusing on cost-effective and innovative solutions
* Awareness of project costs, deadlines, and budgets
* Willingness to seek advice when necessary
Qualifications
* BEng or MEng degree
* Working towards Chartered Civil Engineer status (CEng, MICE, or MIStructE)
