Marketing Executive £26k - £29k AAE Central London
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic individual who has excellent attention to detail and the initiative and ability to work as part of the Kirker Marketing Team – with the Graphic Designer and Head of Marketing as well as liaising with the Managing Director and other members of the team. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the candidate will need to be flexible and willing to help with different areas of the business as required. Key responsibilities include assisting with marketing campaigns involving brochures and direct mail, email, digital and social media, as well as client and travel agent events, including concerts, lectures and museum visits. The role will suit an individual with an interest in European travel, culture and the arts, and a desire to create compelling marketing designed to appeal to the curious discerning traveller. The individual will be based full time in the Kirker office in central London and will be required to collaborate daily with other departments within the company including the Kirker Concierge, the Cultural Tours & Music Holidays team and the Reservations team to support and communicate key promotions and special offers via B2B and B2C channels.
Marketing Executive Job Requirements
· Work with the Marketing Team on email marketing campaigns, including scheduling, layout, copy editing and writing, as well as targeting and segmenting audiences.
· Help to plan, organise and attend company events in keeping with the company style, including classical music concerts, art and history lectures and client receptions.
· Maintain and update the client database with a high level of accuracy, to reflect company style and adhere to GDPR legislation.
· Collaborate with the Agency Sales Team to make sure that travel agents have access to the latest relevant marketing materials in different formats.
· Liaise with the hotel Contracting Team to select and develop new and relevant offers that can be successfully promoted and sold by the Reservations Team
· Work closely with the Cultural Tours & Music Holidays team to create ad hoc digital and offline micro-marketing campaigns.
· Cooperating with website manager and external agency to maintain the company website, update content and add new features and pages as required.
· Analyse statistics and prepare reports to measure the effectiveness of Marketing campaigns and events, online and in print.
Marketing Executive Job Skills
· Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat is desirable.
· An ability to create and manage social media accounts, including planning and creating content for Instagram, Facebook and YouTube/Vimeo.
· A knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) techniques and strategies and an interest in copywriting for effective SEO.
The ability to proofread acutely, and to write and edit effective and concise copy is essential.
