Healthcare Assistant to SEND Teaching Assistant

A specialist SEND school in Wirral is looking for dedicated and compassionate people to join their team as SEND Teaching Assistants, supporting children with complex medical and developmental needs.

What you'll be doing

-Supporting children with complex medical needs
-Assisting with personal care and physical support
-Helping children with mobility, positioning and sensory regulation
-Working alongside school nurses, therapists and teachers
-Using communication tools such as Makaton, PECS or BSL
-Creating a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe and valued
