As a Maintenance Lead working nights, you will drive asset performance within a modern sterile manufacturing facility.
You will lead, support, mentor, and develop engineering technicians to achieve outstanding asset performance through equipment expertise. Your responsibilities include coordinating asset care processes to ensure asset availability, performance, and output quality. You will be accountable for the asset care strategy, compliance, and resource management.
What you'll do
You will lead a team in a pioneering manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations, including cGMP, SHE, fiscal, and business procedures.
You will ensure asset contribution to Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) — availability, performance, and quality — through world-class asset care processes and strategies. Providing expert mentorship on assets, asset care, and performance variability, you will understand asset performance and maintenance needs.
Your role includes delivering data-driven improvements and ensuring your team has the necessary capabilities. As a dynamic leader, you will optimize team performance and foster passion and understanding of their contributions.
Essential Criteria
* Proven leadership experience with the ability to build high-performing, motivated teams.
* Track record of improving equipment performance and productivity.
* Effective communicator capable of influencing partners to drive success.
* Relevant engineering degree (preferred) or recognized engineering training (e.g., apprenticeship with HNC/HND or equivalent).
* Experience with assets and asset care in GMP or highly regulated environments.
Desirable Skills
* Understanding and deployment of TPM principles.
* Chartered status or working towards Chartership with an engineering institution.
