A growing business that owns and operates a group of specialist manufacturing, industrial and product distribution businesses across the UK is looking for a Group Financial Manager. Founded in 2014, their companies include businesses in the automative, medical and building product sectors. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of the financial function across an active and growing group of companies, working directly with the shareholders. The role is broad and varied. On any given week you might be reviewing management accounts from one of the businesses, working with an in-house bookkeeper to tighten a month-end process, or sitting across the table from a target company's management team during financial due diligence on a new acquisition. It suits someone who is equally comfortable in the detail and in the boardroom. What you’ll be doing as Group Financial Manager Taking responsibility for the integrity of financial reporting, the quality of management information and the oversight of operating businesses and holding structure.
