In this role, you’ll be at the heart of community transformation! You will empower communities by working together with residents, local groups, and partners to create activities that boost independence and wellbeing.
You’ll champion inclusion through the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, ensuring everyone has the chance to thrive. As a vital connector, you’ll link individuals, organisations, and Norfolk County Council, sharing resources and building strong networks. You’ll promote awareness by delivering engaging presentations and attending vibrant community events, strengthening partnerships along the way. You will need excellent communication skills and passion for community engagement to fulfil a role where you’ll truly make a difference! We’re looking for someone with experience in community development or adult social care, who understands the power of co-production and person-centred approaches.
You’ll need to be confident using IT to share information and connect people, and your ability to engage and inspire will help create stronger, more inclusive communities.

You will need transport to be able visit remote towns and villages in the west of the county. To build meaningful relationships with the people we support, this role requires regular in-person work in both the office and community.
