Stores Assistant role at Lanes Group.
About the Role
Due to continued growth, we are looking for customer-focused people to join our Utility Division, working on the Thames Water contract to deliver practical solutions to wastewater network and drainage problems. The role supports the Depot Lead with depot compliance maintenance, including the depot, store, and CCTV downloads.
We operate 24/7; you will be required to work flexible hours, weekends and participate in an on-call rota. Full training, PPE and use of company equipment will be provided to ensure you have the tools, competency and confidence to perform to Lanes’ high standards.
Responsibilities
* Assist with yard duties and equipment.
* Work with the Depot Lead on checking and maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
* Support depot compliance maintenance for the depot and store areas, including CCTV downloads.
About You
* Hard-working, respectful and committed to health and safety standards.
* Organised with good attention to detail and able to work as part of a team.
* Previous stores experience is beneficial but not essential.
* Full UK driver’s licence is essential.
Requirements and Facts
* Location: Chertsey STW, Home Counties South Region (Chertsey, Surrey).
* Job Type: Permanent, full-time.
* Hours: 4 days on, 4 days off.
* Salary: OTE £29,067 per annum.
