Job Description
As a Care Assistant, you will support older adults in their own homes, helping them live independently and with dignity.
Care Assistant duties include:
* Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, mobility support)
* Meal preparation and support
* Medication assistance
* Companionship and emotional support
* Pet care and assistance with social outings and appointments
Part-Time Working Hours
* Part-time hours based on your preferred regular availability
* Regular clients to support continuity of care, including paid introductions to clients before you start care visits.
* Rotas planned up to 6 weeks ahead
* Availability to work every other weekend is essential
Pay & Benefits
* £13.00 per hour weekdays (£13.50 specialised care)
£13.50 weekends (£14.00 specialised care)
* Paid travel time
* Mileage allowance of 45p per mile
* 28 days paid holiday (pro rata)
* Pension scheme
* Full training provided – no previous care experience required
Qualifications
* Caring, reliable, and professional approach
* Ability to work independently
* Willingness to work alternate weekends (essential)
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential working in rural locations)
* Must live within travelling distance of Marlborough
Additional Information
* Enhanced DBS check and references required
* Right to work in the UK required
