A highly regarded independent Commercial Broker is currently looking to add remote Commercial Account Handlers to their teams, supporting both new business and renewals. They seek driven professionals with previous commercial insurance experience to serve a diverse client base.
The Account Handler will assist the Account Executive with managing client portfolios, including renewal processes.
This role is primarily remote, with occasional office visits.
About the role:
* Deliver high-quality, efficient service to clients.
* Work closely with Account Executives to provide comprehensive insurance services, mainly to existing clients, with some new prospects.
* Manage clients ranging from small to large corporate risks.
* Ensure all documentation for placing, amending, or renewing insurance programs is completed accurately and timely.
* Promote a professional company image focused on customer satisfaction.
Key skills/experience required:
* Experience in commercial insurance account handling and relevant technical knowledge.
* Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent relationship-building abilities.
* Experience with Acturis software.
* Ability to work under pressure and process large amounts of information efficiently.
* Negotiation and influencing skills.
* Progression towards CII qualifications is encouraged but not mandatory.
Salary/Benefits:
