TeacherActive is working in partnership with a specialist education provider in the Preston area, catering to children and young people with complex needs including autism. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join a highly supportive team, starting this September.
The Role:
* Supporting students with autism and complex learning needs
* Assisting with personal care as required
* Working closely with teachers and therapists to deliver a holistic approach to education
* Helping create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
* Contributing to pupils educational and emotional development
About You:
* Experience supporting children or young adults with autism is essential
* Comfortable with delivering personal care
* Able to work collaboratively as part of a committed and nurturing team
* Patient, resilient, and passionate about making a real difference
* Available full-time from September and interested in a long-term, temp-to-perm opportunity
