We are now looking for a Supervisor to join the Ralph Lauren team at our Frasers Store in Glasgow.
POSITION SUMMARY
• Responsible for sales and KPI performance in the assigned department(s).
• Collaborate with the Brand Liaison Officer, Frasers buying team, and RL wholesale team to identify business opportunities and achieve performance goals such as retail sales, AUR increase, and seasonal sell-outs.
• Lead weekly store management meetings and participate in regional Ralph Lauren meetings.
• Communicate daily with store staff regarding sales goals, KPIs, product sales, and other key information to enhance service and achieve targets.
• Implement customer service initiatives and continuously seek improvement opportunities, prioritizing customer service in store management.
• Assist in recruitment, selection, supervision, and development of team members.
• Conduct performance reviews and develop Personal Development Plans to support staff retention.
• Train and test team members on product knowledge.
• Set clear sales and service goals, providing coaching, training, and feedback regularly.
• Use business reports, profiling, and space analysis data effectively.
• Maintain the store environment to reflect the brand and meet presentation standards.
• Manage replenishment processes in line with store requirements.
• Oversee merchandise installation and ensure standards are maintained.
• Promote and enforce high security discipline.
EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive retail experience.
• At least 2 years of store or department management experience in retail or fashion industry.
• Genuine passion for the brand and strong knowledge of the retail market, including competitor activity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, energetic and authentic presence on the shop floor.
• Desire to build relationships, promote teamwork, and develop staff.
• Confidence in providing feedback that fosters positive behavioral change.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Action-oriented and solution-driven mindset.
• Proficiency in IT systems, including Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Team player who recognizes and celebrates others’ contributions and achievements.
