Sales Manager (Construction)
Due to continued growth and the strategy to expand significantly over the next three to five years, the business has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager to support their ambitious expansion plans. This position is remote, responsible for the South of England, with some travel and overnight stays required. Previous knowledge and experience in the construction sector are essential.

Role Summary
The focus of this role is to develop the company's product range and service offerings with clients in both the public and private sectors. This will involve building relationships to generate specifications with support from the technical team, attending seminars, and delivering CPD presentations to offer appropriate solutions.
Your key influencers will include consultants, contractors, councils, local authorities, and government agencies. You will work effectively within the team to achieve personal and departmental objectives aligned with the company strategy. Strong communication, results-driven attitude, and presentation skills are required.
The Role
1. Achieve personal and departmental targets
2. Develop the company's service offerings by establishing new specifications and clients, delivering CPD presentations, attending seminars, and identifying potential projects
3. Increase brand awareness within relevant sectors
4. Promote the company's products and services to a broad client base
5. Provide pre- and post-site advice, visits, and assistance
6. Ensure high standards of customer care and satisfaction within the team
7. Offer technical assistance and recommendations in collaboration with the technical department
8. Maintain and update the company's CRM system with relevant information
9. Assist in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies
10. Develop new and existing targeted clients and accounts
11. Increase conversion rates of technical recommendations to orders
12. Deliver monthly reports to senior management
The Person
1. Construction background with experience across various products or services
2. Excellent communication and presentation skills
3. Full UK driving license and willingness to travel as required
4. Support the company in achieving its business plan
5. Customer relations experience and good IT skills
6. Ability to work from home
