Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

We are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Brackley that is looking to appoint a committed and motivated English Teacher to join their English department from February or April 2026. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with a strong possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:
1. Deliver engaging and effective English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
2. Teach English Language and English Literature
3. Plan lessons, assess student work, and provide constructive feedback
4. Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of learners of all abilities
5. Work collaboratively within the English department on curriculum planning and enrichment
6. Foster a positive classroom culture that promotes reading, critical thinking, and confident expression
The Ideal Candidate:
7. A qualified English Teacher with QTS/QTLS (or equivalent)
8. Strong subject knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for English
9. A reflective practitioner committed to raising student attainment
10. Confident behaviour management and classroom presence
11. A collaborative team player with strong communication skills
12. ECTs are welcome to apply, with full induction and mentoring support available
