Job Description Part-Time Nursery Manager Hours per week – Approximately 25 Hours per Week Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 Our client is looking for an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to help lead their friendly early years team on a part-time basis. What We’re Looking For Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (Level 5 or above preferred). At least 2 years’ management experience within a nursery or early years setting. Strong working knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted frameworks, safeguarding, and child development. Confident leader with proven ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a team. Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills. Calm, reflective, and approachable leadership style with a genuine passion for early education. Key responsibilities Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care and education. Inspire, support, and mentor the nursery team to deliver excellent early years practice. Maintain full compliance with Ofsted, EYFS, and safeguarding standards. Oversee planning, audits, staffing schedules, and resource management. Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and carers, promoting open communication and trust. Monitor and drive occupancy and business growth, contributing to the nursery’s development and reputation. Ensure accurate record keeping, health and safety compliance, and continuous improvement across all areas. Work collaboratively with the owners and leadership team to achieve shared goals.
