Financial accountant

Your new company Hays Senior Finance are working with a fast-growing company near Grimsby to recruit a Financial Accountant. Your new role Reporting to the Head of Finance, the role involves monthly reconciliations (including VAT and Amazon accounts), management reporting, profitability analysis, and statutory account preparation. You'll collaborate across finance and e-commerce teams to enhance reporting accuracy and drive performance insights. Key responsibilities include preparing month-end packs, managing cash flow and payment runs, and supporting audit compliance. What you'll need to succeed You will be an experienced Accountant (part-qualified or qualified by experience/AAT) with recent and proven technical accounting experience including VAT, month-end, supporting with statutory accounts/audit and year-end. Advanced Excel skills are essential. This is an ideal role for a proactive professional looking to make a tangible impact in a fast-paced, global environment. You will be living in the Grimsby area as the role is all office-based.
