Key responsibilities Day to day responsibility for the management, performance oversight and development of the Assessors and Co-ordinator. Monitor and manage file review completion targets and SLAs to achieve agreed goals. Identify and implement changes to improve performance and efficiencies at both individual and team levels. Complete regular file review plans and update according to business requirements, factoring in Assessor annual leave, ad-hoc case review and other priority cases. Complete monthly and weekly Compliance MI for senior management. Track and monitor Assessor performance levels against agreed expectations and updating Risk Specialist Manager (RSM) and Head of Compliance Operations (HCO) regularly. Complete staff one to ones, to include performance against individual and team targets, audits and personal development and planning for both role and career progression. Manage and approve annual leave, absence, ad-hoc leave requests, liaising with the Co-ordinator to ensure satisfactory resource levels are maintained. Completing Return to Work interviews to manage absence, raising trends and concerns where required. Working closely with the Co-ordinator to ensure all appropriate cases are collated and reviewed, that challenges to reviews are raised through the appropriate channels and dealt with in the correct manner. Complete audits on file reviews, team calls, record-keeping logs and provide feedback. Support with changes to the file reviewing – including updates to checklists, integrations with Revolution, suggesting efficiencies, enhancements, and improvements. Conduct interviews with prospective candidates for new Assessor roles. Complete ad-hoc projects for the RSM and HCO where required.
