Project Manager — St Asaph
Salary: Up to 65k
My client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their Welsh Water Framework team, delivering wastewater and clean water treatment projects across North Wales.
Responsibilities
* Managing projects through design, construction, commissioning and handover.
* Developing and maintaining project programmes.
* Managing project budgets, forecasts, risks and change control.
* Coordinating design teams, site teams and subcontractors.
* Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.
* Building strong relationships with Welsh Water and other project stakeholders.
* Supporting successful commissioning and asset handover.
* Providing regular project reporting and governance.
Essential experience
* Experience delivering water, wastewater or civil engineering infrastructure projects.
* A strong understanding of construction delivery, particularly within operational environments.
* Experience managing project budgets, programmes and commercial performance.
* Knowledge of NEC contracts.
* Good understanding of CDM regulations and construction health and safety requirements.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and supply chain partners.
Candidate profile
You'll be someone who takes ownership, builds strong working relationships and is comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced project environment. You'll be equally confident speaking with site teams, designers, operational staff and client representatives, and you'll understand the importance of balancing safety, programme, quality and commercial performance.
