Job Title
Provide scheduling expertise and support in areas of flight and duty time limitations, scheduling, and fatigue risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in providing high-level technical guidance and knowledge to staff teams and councils on FTL schemes and FRMS.
* Deputise for specialists, representing at industry forums and events related to FTL, scheduling, and fatigue risk management.
* Develop and drive forward strategic objectives on FTL, scheduling, and fatigue risk management with national officers and councils.
* Possess and maintain knowledge of FTL, scheduling, and fatigue risk management to ensure best outcomes for members.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Work closely with national officers, councils, and member committees to develop strategies for each bargaining area on FTL, scheduling, and fatigue risk management.
* Support councils and staff support teams to develop strategies for each bargaining area on FTL, scheduling, and fatigue risk management.
* Acquire and develop knowledge in sleep science principles, biomathematical models, and Crew Management Systems for Flight Crew Scheduling.
* Understand commercial imperatives experienced by operators and provide advice to national officers and councils on flight crew establishment calculations.
* Grow membership and increase density of membership through collaboration with Engagement Officers and councils.
* Provide individual members with analysis of potentially fatiguing rosters where concerns are raised.
* Support the Fatigue and Scheduling group by planning meetings, producing minutes, and providing technical material for discussion.
