The Role - As an SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support students with special educational needs across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Provide tailored 1:1 and small group interventions
* Assist teachers in creating an inclusive and engaging classroom environment
* Help students develop confidence, independence, and social skills
* Work closely with the SENCO, teachers, and parents to support student progress
The Ideal SEND Teaching Assistant:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEND is desirable
* A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs
* Ideal for Psychology graduates, aspiring Educational Psychologists, Speech & Language Therapists, Counsellors, or those considering a career in teaching or SEND support
* Graduates with relevant experience supporting young people are encouraged to apply
