Working on behalf of our client based in Wrexham. We are currently recruiting for a Draughtsperson for a permanent role. Key Duties: Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using Tekla Structures and AutoCAD (2D & 3D). Prepare fabrication and assembly drawings for mechanical and structural components. Liaise with engineers and workshop personnel to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable. Revise drawings based on project changes or feedback from production. Maintain drawing records and ensure document control procedures are followed. Support the project team with technical input during design reviews. What we are looking for in the successful candidate: Proven experience in a Draughtsperson role within a mechanical engineering or fabrication environment. Proficient in Tekla Structures and AutoCAD (2D/3D). Strong understanding of mechanical fabrication processes and standards. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and welding symbols. Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills. Experience with steel fabrication is a plus.
