Opportunity
A Research Assistant position is available in the lab of Dr Kevin Myant to carry out a collaborative project to test a novel therapeutic for the treatment of colorectal cancer. The project, sponsored by industry partner Trogenix, is a collaboration with Prof Steven Pollard and aims to test the applicability of enhancer-driven cell targeting in metastatic disease. The project will use patient-derived human organoid models to determine how cancer cells respond to these therapies, providing proof-of-principle of the applicability of this approach. The position is initially fixed term for 6 months and would be ideally suited to a researcher keen to bridge academic and translational/industry related projects. For more information, please contact Dr Kevin Myant (kevin.myant@ed.ac.uk).
