Job Description
Reporting into the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
1. Drive the development of extrusion processes in a cleanroom environment.
2. Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and product quality.
3. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve production timelines.
4. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production challenges.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes and technologies.
6. Execute of equipment and capital requests to support manufacturing operation.
7. Develop and maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and work instructions.
8. Evaluate and recommend new equipment and tools to improve manufacturing capabilities.
9. Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in all manufacturing activities.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Manufacturing Engineer should have:
10. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Plastics Engineering or other relevant field
11. 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
12. Direct experience with driving the development of extrusion processes.
13. Experience with 2D and 3D CAD.
14. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and industrial standards.
15. Background in medical device or biopharmaceuticals.
16. Proven ability to analyze and improve production workflows.
17. Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
18. Experience with process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies.
19. Familiarity with compliance and safety regulations in manufacturing settings.
