Job Description

COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH SOCIAL WORKERS/AMHPs - Level 2/3 (Full time salary up to £55,672). The salary quoted above is inclusive of additional increments paid once registered with Enfield to practice as an Approved Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP).

The Level 2/3 Social Worker starting salary without or until AMHP registered with Enfield is £41,133 - £51,138. The salary range once registered as an AMHP with Enfield is £45,750 - £53,172. In addition, AMHP responsibilities currently qualify for a market factor supplement of £2,500 (reviewed annually).

Enfield Integrated Mental Health Service seeks experienced Mental Health Social Workers & AMHP practitioners to fill vacancies in our fully integrated multidisciplinary Community Mental Health Team’s and centralised AMHP Service. The role provides opportunities to contribute to service development, transformation, and to influence and shape practice for social workers and AMHPs through Practice Education/AYSE Programs.

The AMHP role covers work with both children and adults and is varied and wide-ranging. The AMHP plays a vital role in safeguarding and supporting our most vulnerable residents. We seek imaginative and dynamic social work practitioners motivated to contribute to the transformation of mental health social care, using person-centred assessments, strengths-based and enabling principles, with a focus on prevention, recovery, wellbeing and dignity outcomes.

Salary notes: The salary quoted is based on full-time hours per annum.

Responsibilities and Requirements (selected)

The post holder will:

* Provide community mental health social work and AMHP practice as part of an integrated MDT in Community Mental Health Teams and AMHP service.
* Demonstrate person-centred assessment skills, utilise strengths-based and enabling principles, and coordinate care planning with prevention, recovery, wellbeing and dignity outcomes.
* Collaborate with service users, carers and families, and contribute to service development and transformation.
* Support practice education and professional development for students and colleagues.

Qualifications and experience: Relevant professional qualification in social work and eligibility for registration; AMHP status or progression towards AMHP registration is highlighted in the salary structure.
