Role Summary
Machine Operators (CNC Milling) are required to set and operate CNC Milling machines in accordance with work instructions, producing quality products safely and controlled, meeting all quality specifications while ensuring productivity requirements are met in accordance with engineering drawings and associated specifications.
There is an opportunity for overtime and some weekend work within the role, which involves 8, 10 and 12-hour shifts, working day and night Monday to Friday.
Key Accountabilities/Requirements
* Operation of a variety of CNC machine tools, Fanuc, Siemens, and G&L controls
* Read and interpret engineering drawings
* Read and Interpret CNC programs
* Download, edit (if required), and archive CNC programs
* Demonstrate knowledge of appropriate tooling
* Demonstrate knowledge of appropriate cutting conditions
* Inspection and recording of all relevant dimensions
* Completion of all documentation and labour bookings
* Flexible and adaptable willing to learn
* Able to work overtime to meet business delivery commitment
